Tria Prima Workshop

Tria Prima
What This Workshop Is
Tria Prima. Salt. Sulfur. Mercury.
The alchemists understood that before working with material, they needed to learn something about its nature.
The Tria Prima—Salt, Sulfur and Mercury—offered a way of recognizing different principles within matter.
In Living Alchemy, we bring this way of looking into the modern practice room.
A client comes to us with a story. We listen, but we also pay attention to what happens while they tell it. Their words may say one thing while the body shows us something else. We notice where they tighten, where their energy changes, what they move toward and what they move away from.
The Tria Prima offers another way of observing what is present. It is not used to label the client, but to help us understand where the work begins.
